Troubleshooting
Solutions to common problems
Having issues? Check these common problems and solutions.
Connection Issues
I can't connect to a source
- Check that the host URL is correct
- Verify your internet connection is working
- The host server may be temporarily unavailable — try again later
A source shows as offline
The source's upstream service may be down. This is usually temporary. Check back in a few hours.
Authentication keeps failing
- Double-check your username and password
- Some sources require you to log in through their website first
- Clear the saved credentials and try again: Settings > Sources > select the source > Clear Credentials
Reading Issues
Pages won't load
- Check your internet connection
- Try switching to a different chapter and back
- The source may be experiencing issues — try a different source for the same title
Images are blurry or low quality
Some sources provide lower resolution images. If available, try adding the same title from a different source that offers better quality.
Tracking Issues
My progress isn't syncing
- Verify the tracker is connected: Settings > Tracking
- Check that the title is linked to the correct tracker entry
- Manually refresh: open the title details and tap Sync Now
Wrong chapter count on tracker
The tracker and source may number chapters differently. You can manually adjust the chapter number in the tracking settings for that title.
App Issues
The app is slow or unresponsive
- Close and reopen the app
- Check if you have many titles in your library — consider archiving completed series
- Ensure your device has sufficient storage space
