Alethia is currently a closed-source project. The source code will eventually be made available under an open-source license in the future. The current-state involves lots of documentation and code cleanup that is the developer's intention to complete before any form of open-source contributions.

Alethia does not claim ownership of any content accessed through third-party hosts. All manga, comics, and related media are the property of their respective copyright holders.

User Responsibility

Users are solely responsible for:

The hosts they connect to — Alethia does not vet, endorse, or verify the legality of any third-party host
The content they access — Whether content is licensed, unlicensed, or infringing is determined by the host and upstream source, not Alethia
Compliance with local laws — Copyright and intellectual property laws vary by jurisdiction; users must ensure their usage complies with applicable laws in their region

No Facilitation of Piracy

Alethia is a reader application that connects to user-specified hosts. The application itself does not:

Host, distribute, or cache any copyrighted content
Provide links to or recommendations for any specific hosts
Circumvent digital rights management (DRM) or access controls
Encourage or promote copyright infringement

Any access to unauthorized or infringing content is a result of the user's choice of host and is entirely outside Alethia's control or responsibility.
